Job Title: Support Engineer

Salary: £35,802+ depending on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Conduct Equipment Maintenance Access and Removal List (EMARL) assessments for SSNA Platforms
- Aid in the development of the SSNA EMARL Process
- Utilise 3D Visualisation software to produce accurate and efficient maintenance procedures
- Collaborate with stakeholders to optimise output
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- Degree level qualification within a STEM field or equivalent practical experience
- Knowledge of the engineering lifecycle with experience of operating in the phase relevant to the role and awareness of the entire engineering lifecycle
- Proficient in using Microsoft Packages
Desirable:
- Submarine maintenance / operating experience
- Working within defence sector
- Support Engineering / ILS experience

The Dreadnought & SSNA Maintenance Task Analysis team:
Within the BAE Systems MTA Team, we are currently focusing on Dreadnought Maintenance Task Analysis, Level of Repair Analysis, and Work in Way Assessments. This enables us to provide a detailed analysis of how maintenance tasks should be carried out on a nuclear submarine accurately, safely, and efficiently to minimize downtime. By using 3D visualization and VR software to produce reliable data outputs, you will have a great opportunity to develop and enhance your engineering skills while working on one of the most complex engineering projects. We offer relocation support packages for all submarine roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
