Job Description
Job Title: Software Asset Analyst
Location: Preston. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.
Salary: Circa £30,000 depending on skills and experience
What you will do:
- Working within the Software Compliance team in collation and analysis of data for compliancy reporting
- Provide administrative support within the Software Asset Management team, helping us to efficiently deliver our business objectives
- Data collation, analysis, report production, delivery and audit support
- Develop and drive a SAM governance objective
- Supporting the compliance team providing data analytics for compliance management
- Developing and maintaining data tracking templates, automating processing of the data where possible
- Create and maintain records of license entitlement
- Review licensing position with Business Group IM&T teams
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- Understanding of Software Asset Management
- Use of ITAM tooling, Flexera and Service Now
- Ability to produce documentation and reports to a high standard
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills (VLOOKUP/pivots etc)
- Good written presentation skills
- Ability to analyse and interpret complex information in order to effectively communicate and present it at an appropriate level of detail

The Enterprise IT Team:
You will be assisting the Software Asset team in collation and analysis of data for compliancy reporting and working with our customers to provide trend analysis and recommendations for strategic decision making.
