Salary: £40,748+ Dependent of skills and experience

What you’ll be doing:

• Track activities against the project schedule, managing stakeholder involvement as appropriate to ensure strategic delivery of the project
• Defining and enacting an Engineering Bill of Materials strategy (based off business requirements, continuous improvements, LFE and best industry practice Assist in managing the full project lifecycle to ensure that, over time, the needs of the customers/users continue to be met and that financial and other benefits are achieved
• Identify, assess, and manage risks to the success of the project. You’ll apply appropriate Project Management methods and tools whether predictive (plan-driven) approaches or adaptive (iterative/agile) approaches
• Support the creation and maintenance of a team plan of activities, with effective reporting of progress to the required stakeholders

Your skills and experiences:

Essential

• Professional Project Management or engineering qualification or demonstrable experience
• Experience in Engineering, with an understanding and appreciation of the engineering bill of materials and life cycle management
• Proven ability to manage and engage a diverse range of stakeholders, fostering collaboration and driving consensus towards shared goals
• The capacity to identify and trouble shoot project challenges, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend solutions

Desirable

• Previous experience of working with Jira or Atlassian Suite
• APM PMQ, Prince 2 or relevant experience within Project Management

This is an excellent opportunity to join BAE Systems As a Senior Project Professional as you will be embedding the early stages of the design phase of the SSNA programme.
