Job Title: Senior Production Planner – Spatial Capacity
Location: Barrow-In-Furness – We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

What you’ll be doing:
- Support the development and implementation of appropriate Production Planning & Control practices
- Engage with general managers and build delivery managers to define and control a longer term capacity plan, detailing key build stages through the CYC facility, utilising AutoCad
- Assist in the deployment of training & risk assessments associated with their Production Planning & Control sub-discipline
- Manage the day-to-day requirements of the capacity planning process within specific manufacturing facilities as required
- Produce weekly capacity outputs to support chairing weekly capacity meetings within the allocated CYC facility
- Collaborate with capacity planners from other facilities to identify opportunities in driving programme performance and minimising lost opportunities
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of the programme build strategy and construction requirements by ensuring the capacity plan is enabled to be executed within the CYC facility
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- Ability to understand build strategy
- Ability to use CAD (AutoCad) to produce detailed capacity actuals and planned forecast snapshots
- Ability to use P6 for plan analysis purposes
- Stakeholder management experience and ability to build on relationships & networks within a large team
- Ability to influence decision making with expertise in resolving complex issues
Desirable:
- Have the ability to learn new toolsets, support development of tools to support capacity planning
- Make judgements, recommendations and advise on analysis of factual information
- An ability to gather information, support development of solutions and of implementation approaches
