Job title: Senior Procurement Practitioner – Material Management

Salary: £35,802
What you’ll be doing:
- Logistics and transportation process governance
- Undertaking all aspects of Material management, Governance and assurance activities
- Delivering Logistics and transportation expertise in line with corporate Supply Chain policy and process in line with business requirements and performance objectives
- You will have the ability to work as part of a team at pace, be professional within the Material Management field and be flexible at all points of the Supply Chain lifecycle
- Undertaking reporting, data analysis, updating contracting documents and other ad hoc activities
Your skills and experiences:
- Excellent communication skills within a similar professional setting
- SAP MM knowledge with Previous experience in Procurement preferable
- Proficient IT user – Purchase Order/ERP systems, Microsoft Office applications – Advanced Excel & PP
- Competent knowledge of Material management process and how to manage these
- Auditing experience will be beneficial

The Governance & Assurance team:
As a Senior Procurement Practitioner at BAE Systems, you will support the placing and managing of contracts for products and/or services. The equipment is provided by suppliers across the UK & overseas.
This is a Fast paced, Supply Chain environment with a varied range of development opportunities, working as part of a diverse team to deliver part of the UK’s National Defence Programme. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
