Job Title: Senior Planning Monitoring & Control Professional – Controls
Location: Frimley. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.
Salary: From £40,748 depending on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Providing monthly and quarterly analysis and reports of project/programme data, identifying any trends and lessons learnt and tracking any return to green actions
- Collating and analysing business and programme level data, preparing and presenting reports for project control metrics – providing analysis on all results with guidance/recommendations on required improvements to support relevant leaders
- Providing guidance and training to project teams on the company PM&C Toolset, processes and industry best practice to ensure SQEP levels are maintained or enhanced
- Assisting in the programme to achieve its deliveries and customer commitments through ensuring accurate data, best practice and process is adhered to and opportunities are sought and exploited for continuous improvement
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- Experienced in project controls of complex projects ideally working across programmes or portfolios which require the management of change and risk, understanding PM&C data and having the ability to interpret it to investigate and correct errors, as well as to inform future decisions and corrective actions
- Experienced in analysing and reporting project data from various tools, including collating, interpreting, and presenting conclusions, proficient with large data sets in Excel or similar, writing formulas, pivot tables, v-look ups, and graphs
- Excellent Stakeholder Management experience
Desirable:
- Foundation Degree/ HNC / HND / Certificate in Project Management or equivalent level of qualification
- Understanding of PM&C Toolsets (P6, SAC, SAP, ARM) specifically how to extract required data

The Integrated Combat Systems Central Project Management team:
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the Integrated Combat Systems Central Project Management Team. In this role, you will support projects across the entire portfolio of Integrated Combat Systems by evaluating governance, reporting, and programme metrics. Additionally, you will contribute to Continuous Improvement initiatives and offer problem-solving solutions to enhance performance. This unique position will set you on the path to becoming a Subject Matter Expert in all Project Management Toolsets. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
