Job Title: Senior Engineer – Electrical Engineering (Power)

What you’ll be doing:
- Producing and maintaining electrical requirements
- Assist the team in setup, execution and analysis of the test results
- Provide technical guidance to ensure the testing is carried out in accordance with the requirements
- Assisting the team with solving technical issues and queries across multiple stakeholders
- Collaborating with multi-discipline teams, suppliers and stakeholders on matters related to the compatibility test facility
- Preparing technical reports, progress reports, and presentations, communicating results and advising recommendations
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- Degree qualified or equivalent experience in electrical or power engineering
- Knowledge of high power and medium voltage power systems and distributions
- Knowledge of compatibility testing of electrical equipment and power electronics
Desirable:
- Project Management experience would be advantageous
- Chartered Engineer or actively working towards Chartership

The Electrical Verification team:
As part of the Electrical Verification Team, you will be involved in the verification and validation of the power system through compatibility testing of equipment and power system analysis. You’ll be part of a wider multidisciplinary electrical team who’s responsible for delivery a high integrity electrical power system. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
