Job Description

Job title: Senior Business Development Manager

Location: Glascoed, location alternatives – Radway Green, land sites. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: Up to £63,000 (depending on skills and experience)

What you’ll be doing:

• Act as a key focal point for business development across the Land UK business
• Enable business growth through effective order pipeline management and prioritisation of resources
• Own key customer and partner relationships across both the UK and international markets
• Influence and shape our customer engagement activities
• Ensure excellence in business winning capability and culture across the team
• Lead and develop a team of direct reports
• Deputise for the Business Development and Strategy Director where required

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

• Extensive experience working in Business Development, within a highly regulated industry
• Shipley business winning training or equivalent
• Experience in securing major defence contracts
• Deep understanding of Business Development processes
• Ability to foster strong relationships at a range of levels
• Demonstrable leadership skills

Desirable:

• Experience in leading small teams of business development professionals
• Successful track record in delivering change within teams
