Job Title: Resource Management – Lead Professional
Location: Barrow-in-Furness. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.
Salary: £49,000+ depending on skills & experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading the team in SSNA resource management
- Operating a monthly resource review schedule, including creation of reporting packs and management of actions
- Creating quarterly BRP (Business Resource Planning) submissions for all resource types and controlling offload labour profiles
- Ensure resourcing governance and data control
- Develop understanding of skillset required in our Resource strategy
- Ensuring governance around Project Management sourcing in the programme to feed into the functional strategic workforce plan
- Acting up as a delegate to the Resourcing Manager when required
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- Project Controls experience
- Experience taking complex data and presenting to a range of audiences
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Demonstrable experience in leading a team
Desirable:
- Workforce Planning experience
- Recognised Project Management qualification, APMP preferred

The Resource Management team:
This is a unique opportunity to work across the SSNA portfolio and to put your stamp on how we manage resources in the Submarine function. You’ll be interfacing with a wide range of stakeholders and shaping future resource plans for the programme. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
