Job Description
Job Title: Recharge Finance Assistant
Location: Preston or Glascoed. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.
Salary: £29,580
What you’ll be doing:
- Support with month end activities & production of reporting packs -Preparing month end journals (Including, allocation of pass through costs, accrued income, payroll journals, intercompany journals), Identifying key variances to budget and Inputting base data into monthly reporting packs
- Invoicing of costs to other BAE entities (Including, compiling relevant costs, reconciling costs to accrued income, PO management, liaising with the business units to agree costs)
- Ensuring passthrough costs are recovered on a timely basis, including advising/supporting other BAE business unit contacts and the debtors team
- Liaise with business unit operational staff to ensure efficient financial processes and controls are in place
- Report to business unit Senior Management on a monthly basis, to provide updates and explanation of current intercompany debt owed
- Support with production of key financial data and analysis
- Undertaking of governance requirements both individually and on behalf of the team
Your skills and experiences:
- Good technical accounting knowledge (studying towards finance accreditation)
- Experience in providing financial support to an operational environment
- Good IT and analytical skills (particularly Excel)
- Experience of Financial Systems – SAP would be desirable

The Recharges Team:
As a Assistant Management accountant within the Recharges team, you will support the passthrough and intercompany recharge process for a number of business units. You will be responsible for ensuring that this process is completed within specific timeframes ensuring that passthroughs and recoveries are executed as efficiently as possible.
