Job Title: Project Professional – Delivery

Location: Barrow-in-Furness. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: £35,802 depending on skills and experience

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting the Project Leader and Manager on the development of new facility projects which are critical to the success of Dreadnought programme
  • Supporting project plans, chasing down actions in relation to the projects, creating packs for senior management and providing status reports
  • Supporting senior management with LCM (Lifecyle Management) and bids to secure funding for new facilities and capabilities
  • Responsible for minor maintenance projects that are crucial for enabling the T&FC facilities to operate and support the test programme
  • Supporting the facility manager with the successful daily operation of PCS (Platform Complex Systems) facilities including security management, logistic support and SHE activities

Your skills and experiences:

  • Project Management experience demonstrated in a professional capacity within a project environment
  • Working knowledge and understandings of project management policies, procedures and systems
  • Demonstratable organisational skills, collaborating effectively, and maintaining a proactive, can-do attitude, particularly in managing stakeholder relationships
  • Proficient in all Microsoft office, in particular Microsoft Projects
  • Previous experience of Jira would be advantageous
