Job Title: Project Lead
Location: Barrow-in-Furness. We offer a range of flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.
Salary: Starting from £45,628 – depending on skills & experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Ensuring all parts of the boat are operational and fully functioning
- Leading on work packages and managing the Dependencies of those packages
- Managing the project delivery plan by utilising JIRA
- Conducting a range of weekly and monthly project reporting
- Overseeing and mitigating Risks and realising Opportunities
- Leading Change initiatives within the project
- Managing the Estimation at Cost (EAC) on a monthly basis
- Collaborating with a range of internal and external stakeholders
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- Experience with Project Planning and Delivery management
- Recognised Project Management qualification (e.g. APMQ or Prince2) or equivalent experience
Desirable:
- Proficiency with JIRA and Confluence toolsets

The SSNA Wholeboat & Integration team:
You’ll be joining a close-knit team where you’ll get good visibility across the entire Submarine programme. This is a specialised role which offers variety and more projects to get involved in going forward. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
