Programme Manager – Fixed Term Contractor
Job Description
Job title: Programme Manager- 16 Month FTC
Location: Glascoed
Salary: Circa £57,000 depending on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading a multifunctional team to deliver new capabilities to customer realising new product and manufacturing process technologies
- Establishing and maintaining strong customer and supplier relationships maintaining regular communications and managing expectations
- Being accountable for delivery of the projects, programmes, and results of the team
- Identifying and developing follow on business opportunities related to their products or processes
- Financially planning and achieving acceptable business financial objectives for orders, sales, gross margin, and cash
- Monitoring and reporting on project/programme performance for schedule, technical, financial, and quality objectives
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- Ability to analyse information and apply engineering judgement to solve problems
- Experience in building customer relationships and achieving high levels of customer satisfaction
- Proven experience of delivering complex projects/programmes to schedule, quality and cost
- Formal training in Project Management (accredited by APM, PMI or PRINCE), with knowledge of scheduling and risk software tools
Desirable
- Experience of working in the defence, manufacturing or engineering related industry
- Experience of SAP ERP software

As a Programme Manager in the newly formed Future Programmes Team you will lead the development of new technologies that are critical to the growth and delivery of our business. Reporting into the Head of Technology and Head of Future Programmes, you will guide a multi-functional team and managing their resources and work packages.
