Job title: Production & ILS Business Operations Manager
Location: Warton/Samlesbury – We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role
Salary: £63,900+ (Depending on skills and experience)
What you’ll be doing:
- You will be responsible for the delivery of the Business Review structure and cadence (Project Performance Reviews, Sales & Ops Reviews, Quarterly Contract Reviews, Bid Status Reviews, Investment Reviews, Approval Boards)
- You are going to deliver Business Review and Reporting Improvements to enhance effectiveness, stakeholder engagement and enable business improvement initiatives
- You will take ownership of International Records Management activities with responsibility for the flow down of communications from E&I; co-ordination of RDRM improvement
- You are going to be leading the provision of topical monthly business operations reporting to the Production and Support Management Team
- You are also responsible for the management of the Production and ILS Sales & Operations Planning activities
- You will be delivering the Operational and Financial performance of the NETMA Production and ILS ‘Legacy’ contracts
- You will be the Control Account Manager for the Production and ILS Delivery team budgets
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- Effectively manage Programmes and Portfolios of high complexity and provide guidance in those areas
- Show extensive and proven experience in leadership and ability to manage cross functional teams and projects to successful completion
- A natural ability to engage, influence and build trusted relationships with cross functional teams and stakeholders across the business
Desirable:
- University Degree or relevant experience
- Effectively manage Programmes and Portfolios of high complexity and provide guidance in those areas.
- Show extensive and proven experience in leadership and ability to manage cross functional teams and projects to successful completion
- A natural ability to engage, influence and build trusted relationships with cross functional teams and stakeholders across the business

The Production and ILS (Integrated Logistics support) Team:
The Production and ILS (Integrated Logistics Support) Team is at the forefront of managing and executing high-value, complex contracts for the Typhoon programme. This dynamic team is responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of contracts, from initial bids through to final closure. They play a critical role in establishing and maintaining robust business operations, project control systems, and ensuring contract performance meets the highest standards.
The team’s work is integral to the success of the Air business, impacting programme execution, customer satisfaction, and overall delivery.
There is also an opportunity to travel to Munich – Eurofighter approximately once a week.
