Job Title: Product Owner & Service Delivery Manager

Location: Various sites can be considered. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: £60,000 + Dependent on experience

What you’ll be doing:

  • Managing the service delivery of the company’s new SHE Management Software System (SHIELD) where it is live and support go live deployment and implementation into other Business Units (BU)
  • Working with the Business Analyst and SHE stakeholders (Superuser community/ SHE Managers), to understand business needs and defines the ‘what & why’ of new product features and modules in the requirements capture
  • Communication and transition management of changes (system design/release management etc.) and to ensure awareness and preparedness of all stakeholders. Early Life Support during BU deployment
  • Working with the stakeholders and SHE teams to identify and manage service improvement activities and requirements
  • Establishes and maintains operational methods and procedures in their assigned area of responsibility (Service Delivery Plan/Change requests/User Guides/ Video’s)
  • Monitors and collects performance data and investigates problems liaising with the supplier and the project team, acting as a point of escalation for service failures
  • Managing software supplier performance reviews and contractual obligations (SLA’s, KPI’s, Action Management)
  • Coordination of Business Unit SHIELD Lead Superusers

Your skills and experiences:

Essential

  • Experience of managing a software supplier and managing a challenging service support service, demonstrate dealing with high priority issues in a demanding time pressured environment
  • Expected to maintain a clear and calm attitude whilst showing appropriate levels of concern and pursuing a suitable course of action to overcome the problems presented
  • Strong influencing and communication skills are essential, as is an aptitude for attention to detail and the ability to maintain effective control over many tasks in parallel
  • Understanding of Project Management fundamentals (AGILE, SCRUM)
  • Proven experience in managing change

Desirable

  • ITIL c4 Foundation level certification or higher
  • General understanding of SHE Software

The Project team:

SHIELD is the new SHE (Safety, Health and Environment) Enterprise tool which is being rolled out across all UK and International Business Units, replacing legacy SHE IT Tools and Systems with one system with enhanced capabilities.

Reporting into the Head of SHE – SHIELD and working as part a wider Head Office Project team, as management team member you will be supporting SHIELD Project with the ongoing service delivery of the live tool, support deployment into other Business Units and play a key role in the development of future modules.
