Job Title: Principal Engineer – Systems Engineering (Requirements & Acceptance)

What you’ll be doing:
- Capture and agreed technical requirements in accordance with company and programme processes
- Deliver compliant technical solutions against contractual requirements and regulations
- Deliver design change requirements and documentation generated, captured, configured and controlled in accordance with company processes
- Provide specialist technical input, review and support into projects beyond immediate scope as an independent thereof
- Leverage systems experience and knowledge in both the tactical and strategic development of other engineers and relevant members of other supporting functions
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in a STEM subject
- Chartered or working towards
- Extensive expertise and understanding of the Engineering lifecycle
- Proficiency in applying Systems Engineering principles
- Experience and knowledge in Requirements Engineering
Desirable:
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies
- Knowledge in Submarine domain
- Expertise in high-integrity control systems

The AVC team:
The successful candidate will be joining a critical team that collaborates to deliver and maintain operational excellence for UK Defence. You will have broad exposure to the submarine lifecycle, assisting in making decisions that impact the safety criticality of the submarines.
