Job Description

Job Title: Lead Project Controller

Location: Frimley, New Malden, Broad Oak, Portsmouth, Cowes, Dorchester, Weymouth or Filton. We offer a range of full, part time or job share roles with hybrid and flexible working arrangements. Please speak to your recruiter about the options for these role

Salary: Up to £55,000 dependent on skills and experience

What you’ll be doing:

• Using your range of skills, you will support with the planning, monitoring and control of projects which will range in size and complexity
• You will be supporting the Project Manager to establish and control baselines as well as record, verify and report on project progress
• Identify programme performance variances and any mitigation/opportunities
• Collaborate with various team members to ensure the management of project scope, change, budget and forecasting aspects
• Oversee scheduling, Key Performance Indicator’s, variance analysis (including Earned Value), risk and opportunity plus governance and reporting
• Mentor and coach more junior members of the Project Controls team and Engineering Managers

Your skills and experiences:

• You will need to have a good understanding/experience of Project Control tools & techniques
• Experience in Project Controls, Baseline Control, Cost Estimating/Engineering, Resource Management, Quantity Surveying, Business Analysis or Financial Management within project environments
• You will need to have demonstrable knowledge and experience of all or any of the following: establishing baselines, cost/schedule tracking and reporting or/and risk and opportunity

By joining the team, you will be working together and using world-class project control techniques to provide expertise with supporting Project Managers in the delivery of exciting and strategically important programmes within our Maritime & Land Sector businesses.
