Job Description
Job Title: P6 Planning Professional
Location: Barrow-in-Furness. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.
Salary: £45,628 + depending on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Performing advanced project reporting & scheduling
- Engaging in advanced problem solving typically based on previous experience
- Supporting the programmes planning team with the application and use of P6 planning software
- Producing schedule health metrics on a monthly basis
- Leading the PM&C processes on a small project or a work package of a larger project.
- Consolidating expertise from multiple sources, including third party experts, to provide coherent advice to further organisational objectives
- Supporting and advocating the development and sharing of specialist knowledge within the organisation
- Proactively identifying and pursuing opportunities to enhance the planning community
Your skills and experiences:
- Experience in Primavera P6
- Experience in planning within major projects
- Ability to analyse Data and present findings
- Strong stakeholder management
- P6 Practitioner qualification would be advantageous

The Planning & Scheduling Function:
As a P6 Planning Professional, you will support Managers and Planning Leads in applying sound planning principles across all our submarine programs and ensure the effective use of our planning software. This diverse role offers excellent visibility across the business and can provide opportunities for professional development. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
