Job Title: IT Support Administrator

Location: Rochester, Kent

Salary: £25,000

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting the management of new starters, movers and leavers, ensuring equipment and accounts are provided and removed in a timely manner in line with SLAs
  • Assessing portfolio management, ensuring we have full traceability of site assets
  • Aiding in loan device management and tracking
  • Co-ordinating device refresh and upgrade process
  • Supporting first line customer interface for all IT queries
  • Managing day to day administration

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • Excellent communication, customer focus and organisational abilities
  • Competent with Microsoft Office skills. Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Self-Motivated with ability to work with an attention to detail working with multiple data sources
  • Min 5 GCSE’s Including Maths and English

Desirable:

  • Previously worked in an IT Support Team
  • Experience of M365, SharePoint

The Electronic Systems IT team:

This is an administration position within the Rochester Local Support Team reporting to the IT Support Team Leader Working as part of a team who act as the first point of contact for all issues and seeing these through to conclusion. Onboarding new users, supporting them with IT Issues as well as ordering new equipment from suppliers, ensure leavers are executed correctly and all equipment is returned and repurposed where possible.
