Job Description
Job Title: IT Project Engagement Lead
Location: Preston/Frimley. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.
Salary: Up to £55,000 depending on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Collaborating with Business Groups and assigned business analysts to understand and capture the future project pipeline in accordance with the planned/unplanned criteria
- Collaborating with Project Delivery Leads, Service Technical Authorities, Service Managers and Third-Party Suppliers to create project responses which includes resource effort estimates for the definition phase of project delivery in accordance with process and SLAs
- Act as a first point of escalation for all relevant business group/BRM project escalations
- Work in collaboration with the portfolio manager to assist in the implementation of management actions necessary to prevent or recover individual project/programme performance issues
- Demonstrate the successful delivery of agreed benefits
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- Stakeholder management
- Project management experience
- Good understanding of the IT infrastructure/software
- Experience in IT Project Delivery
Desirable:
- Change management exposure
- Familiarity with computer-based Project Management tools including MS Project, MS Office, etc

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Infrastructure Project and Engagement Team and work closely with our Land, Air and Sea Divisions/Teams to successfully implement complex IT Systems whilst having involvement in large, multi-million pound projects.
