Job Title: IT Application Support Officer
Location: Warton. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.
Salary: £47,683 + depending on experience
What you’ll be doing:
- You will manage incidents and requests through our ITSM toolset Service Now, and contributing to, and maintaining a support knowledge base
- You will support Operational Readiness Reviews and manage service-related release activities supporting the relevant service leads
- You’ll facilitate Air wide services including supporting the roll out of Win11 feature updates, supporting general patching processes, and supporting a wide range of application services both internal and external to the ESCC (Engineering System Competency Centre), and supporting the creation of new services
- You will coordinate the ESCC wide maintenance activities regarding service documentation (i.e. Service Definition reviews, Service Continuity Plan reviews etc)
- you will provide specialist advice on toolset usage to the user base, monitoring infrastructure and trend analyses and reporting on toolset data, and service statistics
- You will support licence renewal, hosting and utilisation monitoring activities
Your skills and experiences:
- IT support background with experience in setting up IT services and setting up allocations
- Experience in 2nd line support/ticket management
- Experience with Jira, Confluence and ServiceNow
- ITILv3 or v4 qualifications would be desirable
- An engineering background
