Job title: IM&T Digital Assistant ( Engineering & Manufacturing)

Location: Glascoed/Radway Green/Washington – We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role

Salary: Up to £37,263 depending on qualifications and experience

What you’ll be doing:

  • Undertaking solution reviews, reviewing obsolescence and working on upgrade activity
  • Supporting the delivery of new functionality including the documenting of requirements, design reviews, test management, implementation and benefits realisation
  • Ensuring appropriate documentation of solutions, procedures and work instructions exist
  • Contributing to IM&T processes including risk management and business continuity planning
  • Carrying out Cyber assurance activities
  • Providing general support to the Engineering capability lead

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • Knowledge and experience of working in an IT environment
  • Working knowledge of CAD and PDM/PLM Applications across Engineering discipline including mechanical, electrical, software and support engineering
  • Experience of core engineering applications (Teamcenter and NX preferred)

Desirable:

  • Experience in Engineering and Manufacturing environments
  • Cyber Security assurance experience
  • Knowledge IT technologies and future developments

The Capability (IM&T) Team:

As part of this role you will be primarily focused on the areas of Engineering and Manufacturing software, where you will be involved in upgrades, introduction of new functionality, maintaining knowledge of solutions and Cyber Security assessments. The role will also involve supporting incident resolution, licence management, supporting contract management plus supporting business users.
