Job title: Hosting Service Manager

Location: Preston. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: £55,000 – £60,000 Depending on experience and skills

What you’ll be doing:

• Supplier Management, forming close working relationships, ensuring accountability for the management and delivery of the contracted hosting services
• Providing service assurance from supplier into all business groups
• Responsible for the delivery and management of change across hosting services, supporting the Tower Service Manager to meet the required outcome of these agreed changes
• Owning knowledge and familiar with hosting services and products under management
• Ensuring service definitions documents for the managed hosting services are maintained and current
• Providing input and challenge into monthly service reviews and internal reporting cadence
• Ensuring service demand information flows between key stakeholders and that that service capacity is appropriate to meet the future demand
• Responsibility for the management of hosting service risks ensuring that these are appropriately communicated to the Tower Manager ensure that mitigation actions are developed and implemented
• Responsibility for supporting customer and supplier escalations and complaints relative to the managed service to effective conclusion
• Ensuring that Business engagement community have the required information to meet their customer’s business needs

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

• Knowledge of Server and Storage technologies
• Commercial awareness and understanding of current Server infrastructure and products
• Understanding of SIAM and ITIL process
• Experience in stakeholder management including various levels of technical competency
• Good understanding of contract management including budgetary requirements

The Hosting Service team:

As a Hosting Service Manager, you will be part of a small team, focussed on developing and delivering Service offerings into the Hosting space across a very wide range of end users.

Your role is crucial to ensuring we are delivering a high standard of technical services to our employees.
