Job Title: Global Process Manager – Financial Control

Location: Various UK locations considered. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: Circa £65,000

What you’ll be doing:

  • Review and contribute to the Process Strategy and Core Business Model, including Objectives, Risks, Controls, Technical Roadmap, and Design Principles
  • Collect business requirements from L2 Process Owners and define future state L2 process design, including steps, RACI, risks, controls, technology, reporting, data and governance needs
  • Communicate and refine the future state L2 process design, collaborating with L2 Process Owners on key business scenarios
  • Support the deployment of the future state design by working with programmes, providing advice or resolving process challenges in line with strategy
  • Identify and develop business cases for initiatives to address process deficiencies
  • Provide materials and inputs to the Global Process Lead for the Process Design Authority, ensuring clear recommendations and analysis
  • Gather insights from the Process Design Authority and wider function to find opportunities for process improvement

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • Expertise in transformation, process change, financial control process principals, internal controls, compliance, and regulatory requirements
  • Proven ability to optimise financial control processes and understand their impact on data, technology, and reporting
  • Skilled in analysing complex financial situations using a range of internal and external data sources for effective decision-making
  • Professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
  • Experience working in a large, complex organisation, collaborating with finance teams and stakeholders to drive improvements and ensure compliance

Desirable:

  • Familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance financial control processes and improve efficiency through data-driven analysis

The Financial Control Team:

As the Global Process Manager for Financial Control, you’ll play a vital role in our Global Process Organisation (GPO), collaborating with finance teams across the UK and internationally and sharing innovative best practices with our US counterparts. You’ll lead the charge in developing and refining end-to-end process strategies, driving improvements, and shaping future state process designs to optimise financial control globally.

You’ll define process taxonomy from Level 2 to Level 4 and contribute to the Financial Control strategy, applying cutting-edge practices and engaging with stakeholders to address key business scenarios. Your role will include steering the implementation of new processes, participating in high-level discussions, and leading dynamic process design groups.
