Job title: FCAS Through Life Support IP Data Lead

Salary: £54,793-£60,326 (dependent on skills and experience)

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading the engagement with customer and industry SMEs to elicit, understand and capture user and system requirements for Initial Provisioning
  • Developing concepts and philosophies for how technical information/Initial Provisioning/Spares List & material Supply will be managed, end-to-end (from design organisation to end-user) for FCAS/GCAP
  • Working collaboratively with the supportability data output and integrating with the Supply Chain to ensure the IP data is captured and configured in line with the S-Series specification
  • Working with stakeholders across other programme teams to integrate Technical Information Management requirements (e.g. Core Platform Design Teams, Digital Engineering Strategy Team)
  • Producing strategies & plans for the management of the IP (Initial Provision) data and how it will be captured configured and utilised across the TLS Enterprise
  • Identifying and managing risks, assumptions, dependencies and opportunities related to the capture and configuration of the IP Data
  • Planning and coordinating team tasking, leading the inputs to planning sessions and reviews, and contributing to schedules of work around the IP Data management
  • Contributing to lifecycle management through technical reviews, design reviews and gate reviews

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • HND Level 5 or Degree level qualification (or equivalent professional experience) in relevant STEM subject (Engineering/Maths/Science/IT)
  • Experience in Aviation/Aerospace technical publications authoring and management
  • Experience in developing and/or using technical information management or technical publications toolsets (e.g. Trilogi Suite)
  • Experience in Using LSAR (Logistics Support Analysis Repository) to capture IP (Initial Provisioning) requirements

Desirable:

  • Experience in the development, implementation or operation of logistics information systems, engineering support systems, supply chain management systems, or maintenance management systems for aircraft or military products, including either bespoke or COTS applications (e.g. IFS Cloud, Maintenix, Syncron)
  • Knowledge and experience in applying the ASD/AIA S specification

FCAS Through Life Support team:

This opportunity is part of our Air Sector business, focussed on developing concepts and defining the solution requirements for the Initial Provisioning (IP) Data for the Future Combat Air System (FCAS) programme

The IP Data combined with the Logistics Information System (LogIS) is at the heart of how we will deliver through-life support to a future Combat Air platform in an integrated, secure and seamless digital environment. It will align core data that is required to procure and configure the through Life Support Solution
