Job title: Cyber & Information Security Lead
Location: Warton, Bristol, Gloucester, Frimley – We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements. Please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

What you’ll be doing:
- You will be acting as the cyber advisors to the development and delivery of our digital, collaborative, engineering and environments/networks
- Leading specialist team members in their support to these outcomes
- Identifying and introducing innovative technology and non-technological methods to drive up cyber security standards nationally and internationally
- Supporting FCAS Senior Cyber leads in broadening and developing team member’s and growing the right security culture for our long term success
- Maintaining up to date knowledge of current and future threats along with new and emerging technologies, systems, methods, and capabilities to influence future strategies/working practices. This is both at a national and international level
Your skills and experiences:
Essential
- Working knowledge of recognised industry standards (NIST, ISO) and bodies of knowledge, and the ability to adapt this understanding to the operational context in which FCAS functions
- Demonstrable understanding and implementation of government and industry standard security policy and best practice guidance
- Working knowledge of one or more of the following – Secure by Design, IdAM, SOC, Cloud Security, Zero Trust Architectures, Threat Modelling, Incident Response, Penetration Testing, Digital Engineering Capabilities and Infrastructure
- Ability to share own knowledge and experience and support those around them
- Cyber Security experience
Desirable
- Industry qualifications and certifications (e.g. CISM, CISSP, CCP)

The FCAS Security Team:
This team is a holistic security team designed to be able to tackle current and future threats to our programme, people, and capabilities. We are investing in a new and innovative approach to security and this new team is being looked at to develop BAE’s new approach to multinational, highly sensitive and critical military programmes.
