Facility Operations Lead – SASK
Job Description
Job Title: Facilities Operations Lead – SASK
Location: Barrow-in-Furness. This is an on site position
Salary: From £45,628 per annum depending on experience
What you’ll be doing:
- You will lead on the management of the facility infrastructure for SASK and its satellite facilities
- Lead on material and tooling ordering for all Skills training delivery to ensure that the teams have all resourcing available
- Manage regular facility engagement with key stakeholders within Site, Engineering Authority and EMCOR
- Lead on the continued development of the Skills training cost model whilst identifying and implementing improvements in support of the overall facility budget
- Lead a small but growing team as the wider facility capability increases
Your skills and experiences:
Essential
- Proficient stakeholder management experience at all levels internally and externally
- You will need to have strong SAP Knowledge/experience
- Experience of leading a small team
Desirable
- Maintenance experience of facilities and infrastructure
- Knowledge of Supply Chain material ordering process

The Facility Services team:
This is a fantastic opportunity to lead the Facility Services Team that sits within the SASK Facility team.
They focus on enabling the delivery of Skills training within Submarine Academy for Skills & Knowledge (SASK) and wider facility infrastructure across SASK and its satellite sites. Here you will have high exposure to various levels of the business and external stakeholders. This is an exciting time to join the team as we are undergoing growth and expansion as well as offering a varied role.
