Job title: Facilities Site Engineer

Location: Bishopton – We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role

Salary: Up to £42,132 depending on qualifications and experience

What you’ll be doing:

  • The implementation and management of construction and non-construction projects of varying value, size and complexity across the site to meet customer expectations and deliverable requirements
  • Manage multi-disciplinary project teams consisting of sub-contractors, consultants, stakeholder agencies, internal resources, and statutory authorities
  • The implementation of workplace & project relevant Health, Safety, Environment, & Security policies
  • Confirm requirements and create robust Scopes of Work to support the tender of construction and non-construction projects
  • Control and management of Special Revenue & Capital Budgets for assigned projects ensuring that works are completed within budget and funds are managed in compliance with business processes

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • Have at least 3 years’ proven Project Management experience ideally within a Facilities, Construction, Plant and Equipment or Estates environment
  • Experience and knowledge of The Construction (Design & Management) Regulations (CDM 2015)
  • Ability to organize and manage all aspects of a facilities project from cradle to grave inclusive of budget control

The Facilities Management Team:

This role will report directly to the Facilities Manager, this is an exciting opportunity where you will able responsible for the delivery of FM related projects and ISO 50001 attainment for the site in support of a wider business requirement. Works will include the identification and scoping of projects for the site – this can be in terms of refurbishment of existing infrastructure/buildings or the provision of new facilities/services. The site has recently engaged in the provision of a fabric survey which will be used to support the ongoing management and re-life of existing infrastructure and this role will be pivotal in the delivery of those works.
