Job Description
Job Title: Enterprise Architect
Location: Barrow-in-Furness, Weymouth, Portsmouth, Filton, Frimley and Farnborough. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role
Salary: Up to £51,500 dependent on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
- You will have the opportunity to work with other teams internally and BAES sectors, along with BAES Submarines partners
- Manage the architecture tooling and standards whilst supporting with the development of process and governance
- Maintain the baseline architecture within an enterprise architecture tool
- Creating the reports to support the enterprise architecture function
- Develop the Architecture Office SharePoint site
- Working with the Solution Architecture teams to implement the architecture process across all IT Projects
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- You will need to have strong stakeholder management, influencing and engagement experience
- Have a creative flare and be able to translate work to non-technical stakeholders
- Proven experience developing processes
Desirable:
- HND/Degree level qualification in IT and/or relevant experience within a large organisation
- Experience working in an IT discipline or background within complex engineering/manufacturing/defence environment

The Enterprise Architecture team:
This is a brilliant opportunity to join the team and work across a variety of programmes including strategy, planning & design assurance across all IT programmes within the Submarines Enterprise.
Current projects include the development of new processes, systems and enhancing the current systems. There is fantastic room for career growth and development. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
