Job title: Engineer – Support Engineering (Product Configuration)
Location: Barrow-in-Furness. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role
Salary: £35,802+ dependant on experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Creating equipment information packs and reading and interpreting technical drawings and documentation
- Quality Assessing the LSA disassembly sequence of various equipment’s within various different systems
- Producing the Integrated Support Bill of Materials on Teamcenter, screen and create BoM parts
- Collating technical documentation to the latest revision, ensuring quality assurance
- Liaising with the wider floorplate i.e. engineers and system owners
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- Experience within Engineering domain
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Competent Computer user
Desirable
- TeamCenter or MMIS experience
- Knowledge of submarine systems

The Product Configuration Team:
The Product Configuration Team are an emerging team within the Integrated Logistic Support department. In this role you will collate and deliver fully configured Equipment Information Packs of source technical data to the customer, whilst also producing the rapidly developing Integrated Support Bill of Materials – that is gaining interest from many departments around the shipyard. This role will allow you to develop and enhance your engineering skills and knowledge. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
