Job Title: Data & Analytics Team Lead

Location: Preston or Frimley. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: Circa £52,000 depending on skills and experience.

What you’ll be doing:

• Use data ethically and appropriately, ensuring data is managed in compliance with legislative, security, export control and contractual requirements
• Lead a team to design, develop and construct data products and services, and integrate them into systems and business processes
• Manages data products through discovery, test and production states
• Incorporate governance of data into routine processes
• Make recommendations to address complex problems and to inform strategic and operational decision making
• Identifies operational problems and ensures their resolution, checking that they are managed in accordance with agreed standards and procedures
• Builds and manages stakeholder relationships, challenging where appropriate, to achieve agreed service levels and quality standards

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

• Good knowledge of product lifecycle processes, application of change management and releases of products
• Has sound knowledge of the relevant data analytics, reporting and visualisation techniques
• Communicates fluently, orally and in writing, and can present complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences when engaging with colleagues, users/customers, suppliers and partners

Desirable:

• Experience working with Jira and Confluence
• Previous experience with Tableau and Alteryx products desirable
• Experience of leading an agile scrum team
• Leading a team of including tasking, performance management, development, and managing delivery

The Data and Analytics team:

The Shared Services Forward Team, within Data & Analytics, delivers business intelligence (BI) products to meet the performance needs of Shared Services. We are a team of dedicated experts in SuccessFactors reporting, Tableau and Alteryx. We provide end-to-end BI solutions, managing the full product lifecycle from business analysis through to development and service delivery.
