Job Title: DASS Qualification, Certification & Verification Senior Engineer

Location: Warton – We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: £47,683 – £52,426

What you’ll be doing:

• Production of DASS qualification requirements and clearance documentation for development and production aircraft
• Liaising with internal and external customers and suppliers in support of requirements capture and aircraft clearance
• Management of System Problem Reporting investigations across all DASS activities
• Generation of test requirements for both rig and flight testing
• Support DASS related flight trials activities as required
• Opportunity to get involved in wider DASS subsystem activities when required
• Opportunity to develop Safety experience & develop DASS safety assessments

Your skills and experiences:

• A good understanding of Systems Engineering lifecycle
• Confident and proactive, willing to take personal responsibility for the delivery of their own work, both on time and to a high standard
• Ability to engage the stakeholder community at various levels including our internal and external customers and suppliers
• Ability to communicate complicated technical information effectively, both verbally and in writing, to management and peers
• A good understanding of requirements capture

The Qualification and Certification team:

By being part of the Qualification and Certification Team you will engage in critical activities for developing and certifying advanced aircraft systems. You will be involved in defining DASS qualification requirements, managing system problem reports, generating test requirements for rig and flight tests, and supporting flight trials. This role offers the opportunity to gain valuable safety assessment experience, work with internal and external stakeholders, and contribute to high-impact projects as well as developing your expertise in system qualification and testing while playing a key role in ensuring the safety and effectiveness of cutting-edge aircraft technologies.
