Job title: Communications & Events Officer
Location: Preston; We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.
Salary: Circa £37,000 depending on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead the transformation and delivery of Commercial communications and engagement initiatives
- Coordinate and produce creative content for monthly newsletters, Vlogs and social media posts
- Delivering and elevating a range of Engagement Sessions
- Lead the coordination of functional focus groups, feedback and data analytics to enhance the teams’ output
- Maintaining refreshing and enhancing the Commercial Intranet site
- Lead the delivery of the Commercial Achievement Awards Scheme and coordinating the Awards Ceremony
- Delivering a programme of events & activities to celebrate, connect and strengthen the Commercial community
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- Excellent written communication skills as well as strong verbal communication, presentation & influencing skills
- Experienced in creating and scheduling content across various platforms and tailoring to targeted demographics
- Able to prioritise multiple projects and demands
- Strong attention to detail
- Creative marketing mind-set as well as agile and able to adapt to new digital marketing trends and tools
- Determination to drive work package and corral inputs from multiple stakeholders

The Group Commercial team:
This is an exciting opportunity to work in the Talent & People Capability team to deliver the Commercial Communications & Engagement Strategy, coordinate a programme of events and support the Commercial Development Proposition.
This role provides the opportunity to grow your existing experience across business units and deal with stakeholders at all levels from Directors to new entrants. The role requires management of conflicting demands and changing priorities.
