Job title: Engineering Manager

What you’ll be doing:
- Managing the Reactor & Propulsion Test Sections during the design phase and prepare for the delivery of the Test & Commissioning schedule
- Ensuring Test Sections are ready in line with the Test & Commissioning element of the schedule
- Delivering the Test & Commissioning elements of the Build & Test Work Breakdown Structure
- Supporting the development and delivery Test & Commissioning strategy and ways of working
- Ensuring Testing & Commissioning expectations are incorporated into the design to support delivery of the required build duration and takt time between boats
- Managing and developing people/teams to ensure they are SQEP and capable of delivering the T&C scope
Your skills and experiences:
- Demonstrable experience in Reactor systems and/or Propulsion systems Testing & Commissioning (on submarines preferable)
- Experience managing people
- Experience managing delivery to plan and schedule
- Demonstrable communication skills and be able to work effectively with multiple stakeholders
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Teamcenter, SAP or equivalent toolsets advantageous

The Commissioning Team:
The Commissioning Manager will manage, control & monitor the test section to meet the Boat Commissioning Plan, responsible for a large group of Commissioning Engineers at various levels & disciplines, offering a broad range of technical skill & knowledge to lead and deliver the programme. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
