Job Title: Accounts Receivable Finance Assistant

Salary: £28,300
What you’ll be doing:
- Raising & Distributing Sales Invoices
- Sales Order inputs and Amendments
- Raising Credit notes
- Attending/Supporting Debtor meetings
- Query management and resolution
Your skills and experiences:
Essential
- Finance degree or professional qualification (AAT/CAT) or have experience of working in a finance environment in a number of roles, specifically Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable
- Proven knowledge of Microsoft excel including how to complete basic formulas such as sums, ifs, vlookups etc.
Desirable
- Experience of ERP systems within a finance environment (experience of SAP or Oracle for example)
- Understanding of Output VAT, Sales Taxes, Sales Trading, IFRS15, Revenue Recognition, Debtor Provisions

The Accounts Receivable (AR) team:
You will be playing a key role in review, quality control and input of sales orders, accurate and timely entry of sales invoices, amongst other areas. This role has significant impact on the wider AR team and the working capital management of our customers. Our business partners will interact with this role on a day-to-day basis so delivering a high quality service and ensuring customer satisfaction is of prime importance.
The Accounts Receivable team is part of a large Finance function within BAE Systems with many opportunities for progression. This is a chance to showcase your motivation and dependability within this team.
