B1/B2 Aircraft Maintenance Technician (Base Aerea de Gando)

Job Description:

3 vacancies for a MRO MECHANIC/ELECTRIC (TMA B1 / B2 ) has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Getafe for Base Aerea de Gando

The successful applicant will join MRO Department.

The sucessfull candidate will be performing maintenance and support tasks for Eurofighter Program

Tasks & accountabilities
Your main tasks and accountabilities will include:
• Perform electrical/mechanical assembly, integration and modification.
• Perform system repairs

• Perform first level Quality inspection.
• Perform functional tests of aircraft and components
• Inputs: Raw materials, tools, standards parts and components, documentation (technical instruction, job card an technical manuals).
• Outputs: Assembly ready for testing with associated production documentation.
• Give support to Spanish Air Force operations performing hourly and calendar inspections. Maintenance activities will be performed to Eurofighter aircraft.
• Ensure continuous improvement.

Required Profile
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

• Previous experience in maintenance of aircraft and/or aircraft components.
• Aircraft General Systems knowledge for integration and test (ECS, Fuel system, Hydraulic, Electrical Systems...)
• Experience in manufacturing: Tools and processes awareness, Technical documentation, manuals and drawings.
• Continuous improvement profile and Quality knowledge or experience.
• Used to work with jigs and tools in aircraft and components maintenance
• Proactive and collaborative mindsets are a must due to the work being performed at the customer's facilities.• Flexibility due to the changing needs of the customer
