- Work in a high-impact planning role where your decisions directly influence terminal performance, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency
- Exposure to end-to-end terminal operations including vessel, yard, rail, and gate activities within a complex logistics environment
- Opportunities to lead transformation initiatives, including system enhancements and process optimization projects
- A flexible and dynamic work environment combining office-based planning with on-terminal operational engagement
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate daily terminal yard operations, ensuring alignment with vessel schedules, rail activities, and gate flows
- Define and execute operational strategies, including budgeting, performance planning, and long-term business initiatives
- Optimize yard allocation and resource utilization to meet productivity targets, safety requirements, and service standards
- Lead implementation and continuous improvement of Terminal Operating Systems (TOS), including real-time inventory, autostow, and optimization tools
- Monitor operational performance and ensure system accuracy across platforms such as Express and SPARCS
- Collaborate with internal departments, customers, vendors, and labor unions to maintain efficient and stable operations
- Develop team capability by coaching Assistant Managers and promoting a high-performance, safety-first culture
What We Are Looking For:

- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Demonstrated experience in operations planning, logistics, or terminal operations within a complex, high-volume environment
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate teams, delegate effectively, and manage performance
- Solid decision-making and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to analyze operational challenges and implement effective solutions
- Proven ability to build relationships across stakeholders, including internal teams, customers, and labor unions
- Adaptability to dynamic operational demands, including variable shifts and changing priorities
You should be comfortable working variable shifts, including nights and weekends, and able to operate effectively in both indoor and outdoor terminal conditions.
Salary: $125k - $135k
Hours: Day Shift (Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed)

Work is performed indoors and outdoors. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will have to withstand exposure to outdoor/adverse working conditions. The employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; extreme cold. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; extreme heat and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is occasionally noisy. Must be able to work variable shifts including evenings & weekends.
