What drives us forward is a mindset of always improving — observing how work happens, identifying what creates value, and removing what gets in the way. We constantly look for smarter, simpler, and safer ways of operating. If you thrive in environments where people value learning and are committed to continuously improve daily operations, join us and be apart of our journey.
What We Can Offer
At APMT Terminals, we foster a dynamic learning and training culture that empowers our employees to excel. Our commitment to improvement is driven by Lean principles, ensuring that every team member has the opportunity to develop their skills and advance their careers. Experience a diverse, multinational workplace where your operational insights directly influence how we work.
- Engage in large-scale operational transformation initiatives that shape how terminals plan, execute, and optimize flow
- Work in a role with regional and global exposure, collaborating across terminals, functions, and technology teams
- Develop deep expertise in FLOW operating models, TOS optimization, and data-driven decision-making
- Balance strategic improvement work with hands-on operational engagement in complex, dynamic environments
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the deployment, standardization, and continuous optimization of FLOW across terminals, ensuring alignment with defined timelines and operational objectives
- Integrate planning, execution, and yard strategy to enable stable, efficient, and predictable operational flow
- Act as a TOS Key User, optimizing system usage and supporting configuration improvements within Navis N4
- Drive the implementation and effective use of advanced system modules such as Expert Decking, Prime Route, or equivalent tools
- Analyze operational data and KPIs to identify performance gaps, inefficiencies, and continuous improvement opportunities
- Own and drive measurable improvements in operational performance, including PHS, productivity, and overall flow efficiency
- Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and alignment forums to support adoption, capability building, and sustainable change
What We Are Looking For
- Continuous improvement mindset: we are looking for someone who brings a strong mindset of continuous improvement – someone who is naturally curious, committed to solving problems at the root, and driven to make things better every day
- Strong experience in container terminal operations, with exposure to planning, execution, yard strategy, or a combination of these domains
- Proven experience working with Terminal Operating Systems, preferably Navis N4, including configuration and optimization
- Experience acting as a TOS Key User, with a solid understanding of system-driven operational improvement
- Demonstrated experience with advanced planning and optimization modules such as Expert Decking, Prime Route, or similar tools
- Strong data analytics capability, with the ability to translate KPIs into actionable operational insights and decisions
- Deep understanding of terminal KPIs and the operational performance drivers that impact productivity, service reliability, and flow
- Experience leading or supporting transformation initiatives, change management, and cross-functional collaboration in operational environments
- Advanced English proficiency, with the ability to communicate effectively across regional and global stakeholders
- Open to relocation from your country to Panama (relocation benefits included)
