APM Terminals
Rijeka Gateway d.o.o. (RGW) — a joint venture between APM Terminals and the ENNA Group (through ENNA Logic) — has commenced operations as the most advanced container terminal in this part of Europe.

Together with our key partners, including Maersk, and in close cooperation with the local community, we have developed a terminal that will become a major gateway for goods entering the markets of Central and Eastern Europe.
The purpose of this position is to:
Undertake breakdown and restorative maintenance for all types of electronic terminal equipment. Ensure that all failure causes, modes and repair activities are recorded in CMMS.
Ensure minimum global standards and local regulations are met for management and inspection of automated equipment.
Principal accountabilities:
Ensure continuous performance of all electronic/control systems on the terminal. Manage equipment preventive management and repair according to APMT maintenance procedures, standards and OEM requirements. Develop innovative inspection, monitoring and maintenance techniques to ensure reliability and availability of electronic control systems. Support the terminal Asset Management Analyst in providing specialised insight into electronic/control equipment failure characteristics and maintenance analytics. Provide technical input for inventory requirements for electronic/control systems. Collaborate with managers and supervisors to drive down maintenance costs and optimise the breakdown maintenance processes. Participate in safety training or technical updates for terminal operations relating to electronical/control system maintenance, where required. Comply with the company’s HSSE regulations, policies, and practices.
Execute other tasks assigned from time to time by management or immediate supervisor related to the development or execution of the business of the company.
Reporting and Scope:
The position reports to Shift Supervisor. The work location is Rijeka.
The position will work in shifts in organized rosters 24/7.
Critical Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
Experience:
Requires at least three years of previous experience in electronics, PLC or/and control systems maintenance and repair. Solid experience using the CMMS and other systems. Must be able to replace/repair/adjust major electrical/electronic parts such as PLC drives control system, communication drive system etc.
Skills:
Team-player with good analytical skills. Structured, motivated, highly disciplined and result orientated. High quality awareness and ability to work with constant care. Sensitive to cultural diversity and experience in a multicultural environment, with respect to employees.
Education
High school diploma with additional vocational/technical education. Technical University degree is an advantage.
