APM Terminals

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Driver to join our dynamic team and be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of terminal vehicles within the port facility, ensuring timely alignment with operational requirements and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate terminal vehicles to transport personnel and logistics within, the terminal, outside and other designated areas.
• Ensure full compliance with safety, environmental, and operational procedures.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle roadworthiness.
• Promptly report mechanical issues or safety concerns to the supervisor.
• Maintain accurate logs of trips and cargo movements.
• Collaborate with terminal staff and supervisors to ensure seamless operations.
• Adhere strictly to traffic and port regulations at all times.

Minimum Requirements:

• Relevant Driver’s License
• WAEC / SSCE Certificate or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years’ driving experience, preferably in a logistics or port environment.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety procedures.
• Effective communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Physically fit and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Attributes:

• Familiarity with port operations and container handling.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
• Team-oriented mindset with a proactive attitude.
