As a member of the ZEROe project, you will join a team of highly motivated and valuable people who are involved in aircraft concept exploration, technologies development, next generation industrial system and future hydrogen ecosystem preparation that will shape the development of our ZEROe

aircraft.

We are looking for a talented candidate who can reinforce our Fuel Cell System development team by bringing a sound experience in the field of system design with a specialization in fuel cell technology. The candidate also makes the difference through proven interpersonal and collaboration skills.

Your Accountabilities

As part of Airbus and to accelerate the development of Aviation, you will contribute and drive the development of fuel cell systems at all levels. You will focus on the system and equipment development including system testing.

Your Main Responsibilities

As such:

  • You will design and optimize fuel cell systems and components.
  • You will identify system and component requirements and core parameters and drive system architecture and related system trades
  • You will drive the system level integration while ensuring safety when using hydrogen, compressed air, coolants as well as high voltages inside the system
  • You contribute to the verification strategy by defining system and component level tests including the test result evaluation.


Whom Are We Looking For

Because ZEROe is preparing the future of aviation, we look for a highly skilled and passionate colleague, able to bring your energy and expertise into the Airbus engineering universe.

As such

  • You have a degree in engineering, science or equivalent combined with several years of professional experience in aviation systems or related components.
  • You bring strong competencies in thermo-dynamics and fluid-dynamics.
  • You are experienced in physical system architectures and respective component integration.
  • You have a solid fuel cell system and/or stack technology background.
  • You have system and/or equipment level testing experience in fuel cell technology.
  • Ideally you have first experiences in the research & technology sector as well as in project management.
  • You are a proactive and highly motivated person with a great sense of initiative and the ability to manage confidential topics.
  • You show strong communication, interpersonal and networking skills.
  • You have the willingness to travel within Europe and overseas.
  • Your English is at a negotiating level, additional language skills in French / German / Spanish are considered a plus
