Ready to join one of our Airbus Programs in Spain?
AIRBUS offers an internship (curricular practicum) program aimed at students who are in the last year of their degree with the main objective of acquiring professional skills through the development of a project in the company.

What do we offer? : Internship (curricular practicum) program + Bachelor’s Degree Final Project (TFG).

Mission: You will prepare a final year training project that will allow you to complete your official studies.

About practical training:

  • 6 months of curricular practicum at AIRBUS fromFebruary to July 2027
  • Part time: 5h / day - 25 hours per week (8h-13h)
  • Tutor assignment for continuous monitoring

Final project (TFG) to be carried out by the student:

Background:

Simulation is an essential capability for aerospace engineering, system development and verification. However, defining meaningful simulation scenarios often requires substantial manual effort and domain expertise.

Recent advances in generative AI, constraint-based reasoning and automatic search offer new opportunities to support simulation engineers in scenario creation and exploration.

TFG Objetive:

The objetive of this TFG is to desing and implement a proof of concept that uses AI techniques to generate, validate and explore simulation scenarios from high-level requirements. Main Activities: - Review state-of-the-art approaches for AI-based scenario generation and simulation testing. - Define a representative aerospace-inspired simulation use case and a structured scenario model. - Develop and AI-assisted scenario generator and a deterministic validation mechanism. - Integrate the prototype with a suitable simulation backend. - Analyse simulation logs to evaluate scenario outcomes. - Document the architecture, findings, limitations and opportunities for further research.

As a successful candidate, you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

We are looking for a student pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Aerospace Engineering or a related discipline.

Interest or experience in Python, C++. generative AI, software development, simulation, automated testing, optimisation or data analysis would be valuable

The ideal candidate is curious, analytical and motivated to explore how emerging AI techniques can address real engineering challenges.

A minimum English level of B2 is required, with C1 preferred, as the TFG might involved technical documentation, research and collaboration in an international environment. A minimum Spanish level B1 is also required.

The candidate should demonstrate a strong team spirit, good communication and collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in multicultural and multinational teams
