Job Description
Job Description:
In order to support the Quality Department, Airbus Aerostructures is looking for a
Working Student - Quality Communications & Operations (d/f/m)
You are a full time student, looking for a working student position and want to get to know the work of a Strategic Communications Specialist? Then apply now! We look forward to you supporting us in KQ as a working student (d/f/m) with approx. 18 hours a week!
- Location: Hamburg
- Start: As soon as possible
- Duration: 12 months
You will receive a collectively agreed salary of at least €18.53 per hour, depending on the job. There are also special payments such as vacation pay.
The Mission
Our Quality Department moves fast. To keep our standards world-class, we need a technical-minded student to bridge the gap between high-level management and daily quality operations. Working side-by-side with our Executive Assistant (EA), you will ensure that quality data and documentation are always "board-ready."
Definition working student
Working students are students who are enrolled at a University or some other institution of higher education, and who are employed in a reasonably long, fixed-term position parallel to their studies. This position must not be confused with an internship or with the possibility of writing a final thesis.
This employment usually takes place directly on the company's premises. A working student's main focus remains on their studies, which is why, during term-time, working students are not allowed to work more than 20 hours per week.
Working students therefore usually work near their place of study, so as to conveniently combine studying and employment.
Your location
You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Experience the special flair of Hamburg in your spare time where vibrant cosmopolitan culture meets nautic legacy.
Finkenwerder
Are you wondering how you actually get from university to Airbus? Your working student position is at the Finkenwerder plant and you can take the ferry from Teufelsbrück to the Airbus ferry terminal and back to the university in the morning and at noon. Alternatively, you can take the ferry to Finkenwerder and then ride your bike for about another 15 minutes to the main entrance.
Your benefits
- Attractive salary and work-life balance with an 18-hour week (flexitime).
- Mobile working after agreement with the department.
- International environment with the opportunity to network globally.
- Work with modern/diversified technologies.
- At Airbus, we see you as a valuable team member and you are not hired to brew coffee, instead you are in close contact with the interfaces and are part of our weekly team meetings.
- Opportunity to participate in the Generation Airbus Community to expand your own network.
- Executive Exposure: Your reports and presentations will be seen and used by top-level management.
- Creative Ownership: We provide the data; you provide the vision for how it’s presented and shared.

- Communication Hub: Co-author the department’s professional identity. You will draft internal announcements regarding quality updates and other communications as needed.
