Working student (d/f/m) in Strategic Procurement

Are you a full-time student (d/f/m) looking for a working student position and would like to familiarise yourself with the work of strategic procurement? Then apply now! We would be delighted if you could support us in Strategic Aerostructure Procurement as a working student (d/f/m) for approx. 15 - 18 hours per week!

Around 60% of the value of the Airbus Products comes from our external supply chain, composed from thousands of suppliers all over the world. The Procurement function is therefore a key contributor to the sustainable profitability and to the technical innovation of Airbus.

Definition working student
Working students are students who are enrolled at a University or some other institution of higher education, and who are employed in a reasonably long, fixed-term position parallel to their studies. This position must not be confused with an internship or with the possibility of writing a final thesis.
This employment usually takes place directly on the company's premises. A working student's main focus remains on their studies, which is why, during term-time, working students are not allowed to work more than 20 hours per week.
Working students therefore usually work near their place of study, so as to conveniently combine studying and employment.

Your tasks and responsibilities

Support our Procurement team with projects in Strategic Purchasing

• During tendering e.g. by setting up Non-Disclosure Agreements, request and evaluate offers and preparation of selection reports.
  
• During the set-up & management of contractual agreements with suppliers.
  

Opportunity to develop project management skills

• Generate project plans and set up adequate reporting schemes.
  
• Analyses of relevant KPIs.
  
• Active risk management of the relevant procurement perimeter.
  

Collaboration with strategic buyers and internal customers.

• Support the definition and update of the commodity strategy with market research, data analysis and supplier operational and strategic excellence evaluation
  
• Planning and executing small improvement projects
  

Required knowledge and qualifications

• Enrolled full-time student (d/f/m) in the field of business administration, engineering or economics.
  
• Confident handling of MS Office or Google Suite.
  
• First practical experience desirable.
  
• Business fluent in English, German desirable, all other additional languages are welcome.
  
• You are a team player, communicative and have an independent way of working.
