In order to support the development and delivery of the next generation aircraft Airbus Operations is looking for a

VIE within Germany - Program Management A350 Development (d/f/m)

Definition VIE

The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) program is an international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function. We are looking for highly motivated graduates aged 18 to 28 years, who are citizens of the European Union (all E.U. nationals, plus Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein). Candidates meeting these criteria and interested in a VIE, please register before your 28th birthday on the website www.civiweb.com . For graduates who would be interested in a career with Airbus, this could be the start of a rewarding future in a dynamic and forward-thinking sector.

Your location

You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Experience the special flair of Hamburg in your spare time where vibrant cosmopolitan culture meets nautic legacy.

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Coordination of the involved stakeholders to reach the programme targets.
  • Follow-up of the project progress, understand and master the project interdependencies along the aircraft development life cycle.
  • Coordination of the aircraft configuration- and development processes.
  • Creation of regular status reports and executive summaries.


Desired skills and qualifications

  • University degree within Aerospace/Mechanical/Production or Industrial Engineering, Information Technology or similar study field.
  • Interest in the aircraft development process from a technical point of view.
  • Respect to its multifunctional dimensions: Industrial, Sourcing and Finance.
  • Capable of integrating complex requirements and interdependencies.
  • English: fluent/negotiation level.
  • Additional language would be a plus.
  • You are a good team player, have excellent communication skills, and are able to work independently.
