The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) is a unique international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function.
The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria.
VIE Main Requirements:
• European Union citizens (plus Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Monaco), graduates up to and including 28 years old
• Have fulfilled military obligations for their country, if any

The contract duration of VIE is between 6 to 24 months.
A VIE for a 3D harness designer has arisen within Airbus Helicopters in SPAIN, Albacete. You will join the engineering department.

You will work in a multidisciplinary and autonomous team with the mission of creating innovative solutions to satisfy our customers, in an environment of trust.

This adventure based on listening and mutual assistance will allow you to develop your technical know-how around embedded systems serving the industry.

In an innovative digital environment at the cutting edge of technology, you will join a dynamic department in charge of the integration of electrical assemblies on new platforms (H160, VSR700, H175, RACER, City Airbus).

Your mission will consist of carrying out 3D studies for the integration of electrical harnesses in a DMU (Digital Mock Up) environment so that the safety and reliability of our helicopters are ensured.

Tasks and responsibilities:
You will be responsible for the following main activities:
• 3D creation of electrical harness routing with the CATIA V5 EHI module
• Studies and positioning of harness supports
• 3D creation of interface plans with the structure for the harness supports
• Creation of harness manufacturing plans in 2D with the CATIA V5 EHF module
• Creation of harness installation drawing on the helicopter
• Impact analysis in the event of modification
• Interface with other departments / professions within the design office
• Production support whether on the assembly line or in production centers

Required Skills
You have the following experiences and skills:
• Knowledge of harness routing in a 3D environment
• Creation of drawings for production
• Management of a DMU and 3D environment
• Knowledge and mastery of CATIA V5 software with specific electrical modules

  • Réalisation 3D du routing des harnais électriques avec le module EHI de CATIA V5
  • Etudes et positionnements des supports de harnais
  • Réalisation 3D des plans d’interfaces avec la structure pour les supports de harnais
  • Réalisation des plans de fabrication des harnais en 2D avec le module EHF de CATIA V5
  • Réalisation des plans de montages des harnais sur la machine
  • Analyse d’impacts en cas de modification
  • Interface avec d’autres départements / métiers au sein du bureau d’étude
  • Support à la production que ce soit en ligne d’assemblage ou dans les centres de production

Compétences requises
Vous avez les expériences et les compétences suivantes :

  • Connaissance en routing des harnais dans un environnement 3D
  • Réalisation des plans pour la production
  • Gestion d’une DMU et d’environnement 3D
  • Connaissance et maitrise du logiciel CATIA V5 avec les modules spécifiques électriques
  • Connaissance des règles d’installation des harnais électriques dans un environnement aéronautique
  • Vous aimez travailler dans un environnement complexe et n’êtes pas réfractaire aux changements de priorités
  • Capacité à prendre du recul et avoir une vue d’ensemble sur un projet
  • Soft Skills : méthodologie et rigueur, esprit d’équipe et dynamisme, communication transparente, avoir une attitude positive y compris dans la difficulté (être constructif), savoir travailler en plateau
  • Compétences linguistiques : Niveau négociation en Français et avancé en Anglais.
