The Upgrade Operations Manager (ASOSUS) is a key enabler to manage the production scheduling of the material supply for the upgrade deals. The Upgrade Operations Manager acts as part of the Customized Material Services (CMS) department of SATAIR.
The Upgrade Operations Manager role requires a strong understanding of aircraft systems, project management at Program level and customer needs.

- Overall responsibility:
- Steering of the overall Upgrade Systems material delivery planning from industrial setting through delivery to the customer's embodiment organization. Material delivery on-time, quality and cost.
- Your location
You will be based in Beijing - Your tasks and responsibilities
- Supply chain industrialization:
- Coordination of the complete upgrade material supply chain. Main interface between internal customers, external customers and the internal aftersales organization
- Definition and maintenance of appropriate industrial capacity (cost, lead-time, risk) for the project in line with Upgrade Services processes, regulation requirements and Airline’s expectations
- Collection of inputs from the various delivery process contributors & input them into the corresponding production planning tools.
- Ensure project objectives with respect to time, cost and quality are communicated & achieved.
- Risk mitigation: proactive identification of project risks and implementation of corrective actions (drop shipments, material speculation, etc.)
- Support process related improvement projects
- Coordination of the complete upgrade material supply chain. Main interface between internal customers, external customers and the internal aftersales organization
- Operational tasks:
- Material Kit definition based on engineering data and considering logistic rules
- Material order handling and follow up (Demand creation and steer downstream activities including those resulted from deviations from standard process)
