We are seeking an experienced SAP Test Automation Consultant to drive continuous testing for our complex SAP landscapes using Tricentis Tosca.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining codeless, model-based automation suites that validate end-to-end SAP business processes (e.g., Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report). You will play a critical part in ensuring the stability of our SAP ecosystem-whether during routine release cycles, continuous updates, or major S/4HANA transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-End Automation: Design and build resilient, automated test cases across various SAP interfaces, including SAP Fiori, SAP GUI, SAP Web Dynpro, and SAP APIs (OData, RFC, BAPI).
  
• Cross-System Workflows: Automate complex, end-to-end business processes that span across SAP and non-SAP connected applications (e.g., Salesforce, web portals, third-party logistics).
  
• Test Case Design (TCD): Utilize Tosca’s TestCase Design module to create data-driven, parameter-driven test templates that maximize coverage while minimizing the number of scripts.
  
• Execution & Maintenance: Run automated regression suites using Tosca Distributed Execution (DEX), analyze execution logs, and perform quick root-cause analysis on failures.
  
• Test Data Provisioning: Create and manage dynamic test data strategies for SAP environments using Tosca Test Data Management (TDM) or by leveraging SAP standard BAPIs/IDocs to generate synthetic data.
  
• Risk-Based Testing: Work with SAP functional consultants and Business Analysts to map business requirements to test cases, ensuring high-risk SAP modules are heavily prioritized.
  
• CI/CD Integration: Integrate Tosca automated suites into DevOps pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins) to support continuous testing for SAP transports and releases.
  
• Defect Management: Collaborate with SAP ABAP developers and functional teams to report, reproduce, and track defects using tools like Jira, qTest, or SAP Solution Manager (SolMan).
  

Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience: 3 to 6 years of overall experience in software testing, with at least 2+ years of hands-on experience using Tricentis Tosca in an SAP environment.
  
• SAP Interface Expertise: Strong practical knowledge of automating SAP UI technologies (SAP GUI, Fiori/UI5) and web services/APIs.
  
• Tosca Core Skills: Proficiency in standard Tosca functionalities: Modules, TestCases, TestCase Design (TCD), ExecutionLists, and Requirements management.
  
• Business Process Knowledge: Familiarity with standard SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, FICO) and how data flows between them during core business processes.
  
• Certifications (Highly Preferred): Tricentis Tosca Automation Specialist 1 & 2 (AS1 & AS2). Test Design Specialist 1 & 2 (TDS1 & TDS2) is a strong plus.
  
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex SAP data or automation framework issues.
  
• Clear communication skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical automation concepts and business-focused SAP functional teams.
  
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum delivery model.
  

Good to have skills:

• Tricentis LiveCompare: Experience using LiveCompare for AI-driven change impact analysis to identify exactly what needs to be tested after an SAP transport or upgrade.
  
• SAP Solution Manager (SolMan) / SAP Cloud ALM: Experience integrating Tosca test suites with SAP SolMan or Cloud ALM for requirement traceability.
  
• S/4HANA Migration: Prior involvement in automated testing for an SAP ECC to S/4HANA migration project.
  
• Basic understanding of SAP ABAP debugging to assist in defect triage.
