About us

There is an opportunity in Airbus India Customer Services to join the Operational Unit "Technical Data Support and Services" , which works towards developing and delivering aircraft maintenance documentation, to enable the safe and efficient accomplishment of maintenance operations by the customers (airlines, MRO, lessors).The products developed are AMM (Aircraft Maintenance Manual), TSM (Troubleshooting Manual), IPC (Illustrated Part Catalogue).

To deliver the complete documentation at aircraft entry into service and to maintain it throughout the aircraft life cycle is our main mission, and is part of the airworthiness requirements. The main challenge is to define precisely the consequences of the design changes on the already published documentation and to understand the immediate impact on Customers operations, with the objective to provide customized documentation in accordance with aircraft configuration.

Experience Level needed: 8+ years, with at least 1 year in the activity lead position

Job description

The jobholder will be responsible for a portfolio of ATA chapters for all aircraft programs across Systems perimeter. He/She will work in a transnational organization with interfaces to Customer Service, Engineering, Program and other departments.

As Team Leader, Technical Data Systems - Airbus India , He/She will directly contribute to the success of our customers operations by providing support and deliverables related to Technical Data for maintenance across all Programs and several ATA chapters in the Systems Domain.

The jobholder will report operationally to the HO Technical Data Systems- India (IISBD).

The job holder will be responsible for managing a team with a total of approx. 9~10 people with the right skills and competence to deliver the Technical Data Support & Services. He/She will be directly responsible for Production & Operations Management of the Tech Data authoring. Also, He/She will be managing the Performance Management & development of Team members. In addition, He/She need to connect and collaborate with teams at all Airbus sites. As we are maintaining a certain level of subcontracting, close management of subcontractors is also a part of the responsibility.

Experience:

• Master’s or a Bachelor's degree in engineering or AME
  
• Minimum 2 years progressive experience in leadership or direct supervision within the aeronautics industry
  
• Experience in Technical Data Systems or related ATAs would be a plus
