An opportunity for a Technical Data Management (TDM) Operations Lead has arisen within Airbus Operations, Getafe (Madrid) .
The selected candidate will join the Technical Data Management Team, where you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the daily operations of the TDM (Solings/Optegra) system and processes . The team works in a multidisciplinary environment in close collaboration with Engineering and IT departments to maintain data integrity, maximize operational efficiency, and drive strategic system enhancements across manufacturing processes .
RESPONSIBILITIES
The main tasks of the jobholder will be:
- Lead and manage daily TDM operations, including system performance monitoring, user support, training, and operational Supplier Management .
- Define, implement, and govern workflows, procedures, and data security protocols to ensure strict alignment with company standards and industry best practices .
- Oversee tool data lifecycle management, maintaining accuracy, completeness, and quality across engineering and manufacturing databases .
- Collaborate with Engineering and IT stakeholders to drive system integrations, enhancements, and the strategic evolution of TDM technology adoption .
- Manage budgets and resource planning, developing analytical operational reports and tracking KPIs on data usage and system efficiency .
- Act as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) for TDM processes, troubleshooting complex issues to minimize downtime and optimize candidate experience .

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline .
- Experience: 8+ years of experience managing operations within a complex Data Management or Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) environment, ideally within aerospace or manufacturing .
- Technical knowledge: Demonstrable expertise in Tool Data Management (TDM) systems (e.g., Solings/Optegra) and their integration with manufacturing tooling, NC programming, and engineering disciplines .
- Soft skills: Strong leadership abilities, project management methodology proficiency, excellent analytical problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset .
- Languages: Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required .
- Valuable / Nice to have: Proficiency in Spanish is a plus .
